Do you want your former self back?

Before we delve any further into this, if you’re less than 65 … get outta here! UNLESS… you desire to master the game of life NOW! In that case, I must say “that’s the way to do it … you are already on your way for mastering the art of living… WELCOME aboard!”

Do You Remember…

Do you remember the-former-YOU when you were in your thirties? To what extent do you think you look like what YOU used to look back then? What are the chances that you may even appear much better today than the former version of YOU? If the last two apply to you, BRAVO to you! Otherwise, today is the best day for many of us to begin making up for what we owe to the lovely version of us that we’ve left behind!

To my I-am-done-with-my-lifers: Don’t fool yourself, you have much to accomplish yet! You don’t want to leave unless you have already become the best of you that you’ve always desired! And I will tell you! Look deep inside… you can fool us all, but not that person who is hiding deep inside you! I know what you see! Did I hear you correctly saying “oh mine … I must live up to eternity to get to where I really desire to be!” And I will tell you again: yes, a very long time of hard work is indeed the time that we need so that we can say with more certainty “now we have properly served our purposes in life”!  For those of us who believe that they have already achieved their goals, we should say: Bon Voyage! Lucky you … you’ve reached to the summit of your life, and now you’re ready to travel to another dimension and leave us all behind! We, those who will be left behind, need to serve much longer time here to excel at our humanities!

There is no reason that in our lifetime with so much knowledge around us we cannot look like what we used to be in our mid-thirties! I’m not talking about the mirage of plastic surgery on rotten bodies. I’m talking about our real bodies! This one encompasses our illusive appearances! What would you do if they offer this to you: keep whatever you like about you, just let us replace your current body with your mid-thirties body! Would you accept their proposition?

Let me tell you what you have to do: “don’t accept it”! Don’t accept any handouts… those are for the weak people! This one is a proposition that only YOU must fulfil! We have no option that says, “I-can’t-do-it … you must by any means do it”!

I understand that for most of us it may be difficult to make what we want to ideally make of ourselves in the near future! But I believe that it should be easier for us to become what we used to be in the past! After all, we’ve been there before! I know… I know that you may like to say, “you never step into the same past experience twice”! But take it from me, “you have the ability to get closer to it!”  Trust me, if you truly try, you will never, ever, allow yourself to drift too far from your former-YOU!

We, the persons in our golden years, may have a little more time on our hands to make up for our negligence! Negligence! Negligence for what? For the body of ours that we all neglected along the way!

The Game of Life Begins at 70! I’ll tell you again… the real game of life begins at 70! For those of us who are wiser the game would have started much earlier! Let’s consider this as our last chance for excelling at our own longevities! The rules of engagement are easy, if we haven’t yet realized it, this is it: we must get to the top of our game MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, and SPIRITUALLY! We shouldn’t even dare think about saying, “this isn’t easy, or it isn’t for me”! I want us to take it from this Septuagenarian: YES, YOU CAN!

Let us all start reinventing ourselves today! Let us all step into the passage for excellence at our longevities!
